What is Bāzì?
BaZi (八字) literally means Eight Characters. It converts your exact birth date and time into a chart of eight Chinese characters — a cosmic blueprint of who you are, refined over a thousand years of Chinese metaphysics.
Those characters sit across four pillars. Each has a Heavenly Stem above and an Earthly Branch below. The Day Stem is your Day Master — the essence of your core self.

Is Wobazi free?
Yes. Plotting your chart is free and needs no account. Sign in with Google only if you want to save your chart and history.
What if I don’t know my birth time?
Tick “Time unknown”. You still get your Year, Month and Day pillars, including your Day Master. Only the Hour pillar is left out.
Can I enter a lunar birthday?
Yes. Choose Lunar on the form, leap months included, and Wobazi converts it to the solar date before plotting.
How accurate is the chart?
It follows classical charting rules: the year turns at Start of Spring, months follow the 12 solar terms, and the day changes at midnight. It uses your local clock time, not true solar time.
